He's a cool, sensitive guy who exhibits an endearing blend of independent charm and amiable warmth. Known for jumping up to boop his head against your hand, Jett's unique way of showing affection is sure to enthral you.
Jett will loudly demand pats when it suits him. Occasionally, he will become a temporary lap cat for pats, all whilst making biscuits to show his approval. Sometimes, he will groom a nearby human's hair if he is sitting on the back of the couch. He boops many times a day. Sometimes, he sleeps on the bed with his humans but if you acknowledge this behaviour in any way, he will deny it vehemently because he's too cool to ever stoop to that kind of behaviour. He's basically like a lot of teenage boys… yes I like affection but don't make a big deal of it or anything.
Food, pats, and watching birds make his day, adding a little spark to his calm demeanour. Jett adores climbing his cat tree, lying in the sun and watching birds from his netted outdoor catio or through a window. His idea of a perfect day involves breakfast at 5 am, a sun-soaked snooze, some bird-watching, and perhaps a boop or two.
Jett isn't too keen on being picked up or accidentally finding himself outside, prompting him to race back into the comfort of his home. His independence, combined with a hint of pretended aloofness, makes for a captivating friend who only wants your company on his own terms. He has shared his space with cats and dogs before, and he will tolerate them. Just don't expect them to be the best of friends.
