She loves walks, or even runs, on the lead. Penny loves having her mind stimulated with games and learning tricks, but also loves curling up on the couch and adores belly rubs and pats and scratches. Penny can also be quite anxious, and does not always respond well to other dogs. She has been trained to walk on the lead and look at her owner when other dogs go past. She loves dental sticks and the look she gives with her head tilted to the side will make your heart melt.
Ideal home: Penny needs to be in an adult-only home, or a home with older adolescent children. She should also be in a home where she is the only pet, or a home with a mature and non reactive dog, with someone who is experienced at navigating dog interactions. She has had plenty of positive interactions with other mature dogs. An ideal home would have a yard or land where possible, but she has lived in units as long as she is given plenty of outdoor time. Penny is an absolute angel, and I could not have asked for a more comforting and loving companion and best friend. I am desperate to find her a home where she is going to be safe and loved. She is one of the biggest lights of my life and could be yours to if you will have her ❤️
Surrender reason: My home circumstances have changed and Penny is not suited to the unpredictable nature of young children.
